Grant/Teacher: 2nd grade Assessment Tools/Laura Scheufler with Carroll Elementary School
The 2nd Grade Assessment Tools Grant was written so that five second grade teachers at Carroll Elementary School would have original texts to use to obtain students' reading levels. This tool allows teachers the opportunity to assess students strengths and needs more frequently throughout the year. The benefits of this include increased feedback and communication to parents and instruction more closely aligned with student needs.
