Carroll Education Foundation's Grant Recipients and Sponsors 2007

Who hasn’t dreamt of being a rock guitarist? Our sixth grade students certainly do! They love to learn about the guitar during music class and they pick up many other fundamental music skills as we progress through our guitar unit. Our grant money has allowed us to purchase 21 classical guitars to add to the eight we have purchased in the past. Instead of four students sharing one instrument, we now have enough guitars for each and every student in music class. Because each child will be able to participate in the lesson on an actual guitar, our skills are going to skyrocket!
