Carroll Education Foundation's Grant Recipients and Sponsors 2007

Sticks and Stones build safe outdoor learning environments. Students and parent volunteers will prepare a 20’x30’ area of land with sand and weed barrier cloth. Pavers will be purchased and arranged on the ground. New landscape timbers will replace the old ones around the seasonal vegetable garden. Vegetables and native plants will be purchased and planted in the prepared beds. The grant will also provide out-of-the-ordinary maintenance for our campus learning centers so that all students will continue to learn and work safely while utilizing the outdoor learning areas.
