“Bravo ASL!” will be used to purchase workbooks for the ASL (American Sign Language) Level I curriculum. Providing a workbook that matches the video portion of the curriculum and follows the TEKS goals will allow every student direct access to the material being covered. The workbooks provide visual aids, cultural notes, grammatical information, a dictionary, and thought and discussion questions. All of these elements will enhance this entrance level course and the entire program. This hands-on-resource allows for increased confidence, vocabulary retention, and signing ability. Additionally, these workbooks can be used repeatedly throughout the years providing an added advantage to future students who may take this class.
