Welcome to the Carroll Education Foundation! CEF has a solid reputation as a vital organization with steadfast dedication to the Southlake CISD community. As we prepare for another successful year, CEF hopes to involve the people of Southlake in a big way. Parents and sponsors alike will be able to participate in the work of the foundation on a monthly basis as we prepare for our annual fundraiser - Culinary Celebration 2010.

Since 1996, CEF has provided additional funding to enrich the Excellence in Education at Carroll Independent School District (CISD) and continues to be a major contributor towards enhanced programming. CEF enhances programming by providing the innovative tools in education and generating funding to support it where the overall operating budget at CISD cannot. We encourage the entire community to get involved in the process and assist us in continuing Excellence in Education so that together we can provide the necessary tools needed for Carroll students to be able to compete in a technically advanced society. To date, CEF has funded more than $740,000 toward teacher grants.

At the completion of CEF's 2009 fundraiser, The Culinary Celebration, CEF awarded more than $45,000 in grants to teachers and we will continue to give! In addition to teacher's grants, CEF also awards annual scholarships to graduating CISD seniors. To date, CEF has given more than $90,000 in scholarships. These contributions to CISD are largely attributed to the outstanding CEF Culinary Celebration held at the Hyatt Regency DFW every October, which raises approximately $200,000 or more every year for CISD and draws close to 1,000 attendees. The plans for this year's Culinary Celebration are already in the works and it is slated for October 3, 2010. We hope that you will join CEF by attending this exceptional event with friends, neighbors and co-workers. If you would like to get involved with the event, volunteer opportunities are available to serve on our Culinary Celebration committee and sponsorships are also available.
