The Carroll Education Foundation is a vision that is being reached by generous people like you who have a sincere interest in our students and their success. Together we are a community of volunteers who make up a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose sole purpose is to generate and distribute resources for the benefit of all children and all schools of the CISD.
Very simply, to make a difference. The Carroll Education Foundation was created by a small group of concerned community leaders to support the educational programs of the Carroll Independent School District. The mission of the Foundation is to enrich, maintain and expand programs needed to meet the school district’s stated mission of providing a learning environment that inspires individual success and responsibility in a competitive local and global community.
Through a formal grant application process, the Carroll Education Foundation Board of Directors partners with CISD administrators. The committee reviews applications and discusses any areas of clarification needed. CEF board members select proposals by a majority vote and within funding budget. Review of both new programs and monitors and evaluates current programs that receive funding is ongoing. Contributors may elect to fund specific projects or give to the Foundation for distribution by the grant committee.
The Carroll Education Foundation, in its inaugural campaign, established a fund to ensure long-term stability for our district. The investment account continues to grow through the generous support of donors who strongly believe that this investment will provide long-term stability for the future of all Foundation programs in the Carroll Independent School District.
There is nothing more important than the education of our children. As a parent, grandparent, property owner or business owner, your ongoing involvement and support is vital. Through contributions you provide an integral link to the quality of education.
